Two of our partners/ Sponsors, Urban Roots and Yard Farm, were severely affected by the Memorial Day floods in the Austin area. Bogey Creek flooded both farms, and also Yard Farm’s owner Zachary Herigot’s home. In spite of it, Urban Roots Leah and Festival Beach Garden’s manager Julio Perez filled Julio’s truck with muddy but tasty Veggies: cucumbers, onions, calabacitas, zucchini, beans, fennel…you overwhelmed us with your generosity and resilience. We hope your farms and home recuperate soon. Many blessings!
